Leave it to the government
Last night, millions of Americans wasted billions of hours managing trillions of dollars in taxes all while attempting to adhere to a code that they cannot possibly understand.
Because it’s such a pain, or possibly because I procrastinated until the last possible second, I found myself sealing envelopes, writing addresses, and peeling stamps at 11:20pm last night attempting to beat the deadline and rush to the post office to get everything out. April 15th…the one time you really need everything to work. When I arrived, surrounded by about a dozen of my fellow citizens/taxpayers/lazy people— I found this:
